About ModelEOL

ModelEOL is built by Keith Motte, a retired AWS Enterprise Support Manager. I led a team of 14 Technical Account Managers for healthcare and life-sciences customers and spent 25 years running IT infrastructure teams. The most common Bedrock tickets I saw weren’t about prompts. They were about a model that wasn’t in the customer’s Region, a quota that was 0, or a model that retired under a production workload. This site exists to make those three things easy to check.

Independent

ModelEOL is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Amazon Web Services. Amazon Bedrock, AWS and related marks are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Nothing here is official AWS guidance. Confirm in your own account before you change production.

Where the data comes from

A script downloads these pages (the Markdown versions AWS publishes next to each docs page), parses them, and diffs the result with the previous snapshot to build the change log. No AWS credentials are used. Last refresh: Oct 19, 2026.
